How we operate
Environmental Management
While planning our projects, we conduct studies to identify and assess environmental and social impacts, as well as promote community forums and coordination with public and private stakeholders.
Sustainable Use of Water Resources
We actively monitor all indicators related to water intake, disposal, and consumption in our administrative and operational activities. After all, preserving and finding the best ways to use Brazil’s vast water potential is essential to our success as a company.
Climate Strategy
AXIA Energia’s actions related to climate change are aligned with international agreements to which Brazil is a signatory, such as the Paris Agreement, and with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy and 13 – Climate Action.
Biodiversity
Enhancing biodiversity conservation and restoration efforts is part of our responsibility. We are constantly mapping risks, minimizing impacts, creating solutions, and promoting educational initiatives in the regions where we operate.
