How our Compliance Program works
The Compliance Program brings together a set of actions designed to prevent, identify, and correct irregularities such as fraud, corruption, and unethical conduct.
More than simply complying with anti-corruption laws, we aim to strengthen a culture of integrity inside and outside the company, engaging leaders, employees, partners, and suppliers.
Our program is based on three pillars: prevention, detection, and improvement.

This is our main behavioral guide. It defines the principles and attitudes expected from all professionals in the company toward every stakeholder. The document broadens the approach to ethics and integrity within the ESG framework, aligning values such as people, planet, governance, and prosperity.

Whistleblower Channel
We provide an independent and secure channel through which anyone can report suspicious behavior or violations anonymously and without fear of retaliation. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring full confidentiality.
Ombudsman Channel
We offer an open and trustworthy space for dialogue, where every concern is handled with ethics, impartiality, and confidentiality. Our commitment is to promote transparency, embrace diverse perspectives, and contribute to a fair, safe, and discrimination-free environment.
Protests and Complaints Reports
The Ombudsman's Office of Eletrobras is an important communication channel between you and our company. Being oriented to both internal and external public, the Ombudsman's Office has tools to ensure that you can request information or make your suggestions, complaints, delation or praise about our proceedings and actions. The function of the Ombudsman's Office is to seek with all areas of the company solutions for the received questions, aiming at improving our internal processes and the transparency.

Eletrobras, now AXIA Energia, has been the coordinator of the actions of the Action against Corruption Platform, of the Brazil Network of the UN Global Compact, a group of companies dedicated to disseminating an ethical culture and integrity in business.
Pro-Ethics Company Seal
Eletrobras, now AXIA Energia, was awarded the 2022-2023 Pro-Ethics Company Seal from the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU), a recognition that attests to our commitment to adopting integrity measures aimed at preventing, detecting and remediating acts of fraud and corruption and maturity and robustness of the Eletrobras Compliance Program.
